Fathers Guest House (Cameron Highlands, Malaysia) ... the way up to Father s Guesthouse. The Guesthouse is located on a small hill overlooking the small town centre and the market of Tanah Rata; a 5 min walk will bring you into the town centre or in the other direction in the middle of the jungle. The rooms Malaysia is a rather expensive country to travel in compared to other Southeast Asian countries. Coming from Indonesia where we payed less than 2 Pound a day for a double room with ocean view directly on the shore line it was quite a shock when we looked at the accommodation prices in Malaysia. Especially the Cameron Highlands seemed to be very expensive. But well, the photos were simply stunning so we decided to go ... Hotel Aonang Villa Resort (Thailand) ... stayed for 7 nights in a superior room at the Aonang Villa Resort in Krabi during September 2009. This was the second week of our holiday in Thailand and was booked via Kuoni who wangled a deal for us which gave us 3 free nights if we booked 4 so the price for us would have been pretty good. The general rate for this standard of room at this time of year is 3000 BT (£60) per night which I think is very good value anyway. The resort is situated right on Ao Nang beach and next to the main beach front strip full of bars, restaurants and shops. Club Faru (Male, Maldives) ... visited Club Faru in November 2008. This was my first time in the Maldives. Who I booked with........ I booked with First Choice over the internet - doing this online knocks down the price by several hundred pounds compared with booking in a travel agent. The overall price all inclusive for Club Faru, including flights was approximately £1700. This was a really good deal for a week all inclusive in the Maldives. Overall - I would recommend that you go with First Choice to this hotel. The flight was comfortable and the price was a great deal. Price and value..............
