We stayed in this hotel in 2008, We often go to Cyprus as my Nan lives there and we usually stay in Limmasol near to her house but this year we decided to stay in Paphos.
We chose the Athena beach Hotel as the reviews were very good and it was rated in the top 15 out of over 120 hotels in Paphos so thought it must be good.
We booked through Thomson and paid well over £1300 for the holiday.
I was impressed with the rooms especially having bath robes for us, toiletries and bottled water were complementry which was nice.
The hotel complex itself is beautiful and sits on a golden sandy beach. The sea had quite a few rocky parts so we kept our childrens jelly shoes on when they went for a paddle.
The staff are very helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
The Three swimming pools were very clean and so was the rest of the hotel.
The nectar bar was nice to visit and have a few cocktails in the evening and has shows on.
There are 4 restraurants on site and the rooms have 24hr room service available.
Close by the Hotel there is a lot to do including golf and horse riding. We got some bikes on site for a bike ride which was nice afternoon.
We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was really good quality and very yummy.
I would love to go again next year but we are staying with my Nan again.
