      Thumbs-up!

      As a family, we visited Morrocco in January this year. I booked a family room at the Atlas Targa and resort through booking.com.
      At the time of making the booking, this resort was very new and I could not find a single review for it on the entire web!
      Based on the pictures available for this hotel I still went ahead and booked it. And I'm very pleased I did...

      ~~~A solution to a party size problem~~~
      A major problem I always encounter whenever booking a room for my family is the party size. We consist of two adults and four children aged, 7, 5, 3 and 1.
      This means I have to book 2 rooms because a vast majority of hotels only accomadate 4 guests per room. However because of the young ages of my children, there is no way I would let them sleep unsupervised in another room in a foriegn country!
      After much hardship, I've found a simple solution to this, which would also be quite useful to other people with more then 2 young kids searching online for accomandation.
      I searched for a room for 2 adults and 2 children, then read through the hotel description to see whether they provided cots and allowed young children to share existing bedding.
      I've found that quite a few family-friendly hotels allow this, but you must check with them beforehand.
      Anyway, Atlas Targa worked out perfect for me because they allowed the two younger children to share a bed and provided a cot for the baby. So one happy family.
      ~~~The look and Feel~~~

      As soon as you enter the lobby, you start to feel the excitement! The hotel looks very sleek and stylish with marble flooring and cool leather sofa's. The reception area is very spacious and you can get excellent wi-fi connection here which as a guest you are allowed to use for free.

      The resort is split into sections, so to reach our room, we had to use a route that took us outside in the courtyard, pass the pool and gardens. We didn't really mind as the weather was really good that week, around 23 degrees and view was lovely.

      The family room that we stayed in was brillant. Once you enter the room with the key-card, there was a kind of cloak room area where the full-mirrored wardrobe and dressing bench was. The WC and separate shower room was also off to this area. You then enter the main sleeping quarter through a doorless doorway. Here we had a king size bed and two single beds, plus a cot. All the bedding was of premium quality sheets and blankets that were changed daily.
      The room also had a mini fridge and an LCD flat screen TV. Fresh towels and seaweed toiletries from the hotel spa were also provided daily.

      ~~~Boarding~~~
      With young children, I wanted to make sure I wasn't doing more running around then required. So another reason for booking this hotel was that Atlas offered full board at a fantastic price.
      For breakfast a buffet was provided and for lunch and dinner there was an a'la carte menu available. The food was absolutely delicious! The kitchen staff paid lots of atention to detail and catered to individual preferences.
      ~~~Hotel facilities~~~

      The best thing at this resort was the kids club, My children didn't want to leave! a massive area was desinated to the kids club and the there was so much to do. The Creche staff were extremely friendly and made the children feel really welcome. The club was open every day from 9:30 to 12:00. Then re-opened again after lunch at 14:00 to 17:30.

      The resort also had a gym, tennis court, beach volleyball area, a swimming pool an oriental spa a restaurant, a night club, a snack bar, an animations area and a hotel boutique.

      ~~~Location, Location, Location~~~
      This resort is only a few kilo meters from the Minara airport so a taxi ride shouldn't be too expensive. The resort is also a few kilo meters away from the main city area, but a shuttle bus is provided 3 times a day on the house, so it shouldn't be a problem.
      ~~~Overall opinion~~~

      The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to cater for individual needs of guests. The cleaness of the hotel was outstanding. I absolutely enjoyed waking up, going for breakfast, without even attempting to make the beds and coming back to a freshly cleaned, sparkling room! Bliss!
      I would definately book this hotel again!
