Advantages: Clean, cheap , secure car park and front desk.

Disadvantages: Breakfast, prices may go up.

Stayed at this hotel the bank holiday weekend in August. I booked this online over 3months before i went.

The website was really easy to use, and they have lots of hotels all over france and germany. There was two hotels in calias, we stayed at the one near mcdonalds and a mile from cite europe. The other hotel was at coquelles, A bit futher away from calias city centre.

It took us ages to find it, as the directions on the hotel website wernt that great. But maybe it was our fault as i didnt print of the hotel location map. It would of helped!. Make sure you do that, as its not that easy to find. We attually saw the other hotel in coquelles, that was alot easy to find. That hotel was a new hotel, it was by sainsburys and auchan.

Calais st pierre was located by a mcdonalds, a toy shop, builders shop ( like B n Q ) , few clothes shops and a fosters american bar. The hotel is on a roundabout opposite a car selling place.
The hotel looked just like a travelodge and had a securred car park, at night you have to type in a code to get in the car park. Very good, as you know youre car is safe.

I booked this hotel for 38euros a night, but when i checked in, the price changed to 41euros. Wasent really fussed, but would of been nice to known that before i went there. The website has now updated it and says that hotel prices may change. Not very good in my eyes, They should just charge you what they say on the internet.

We got given a room code, you type this in to get into the room, you also use this code to get into the car park at night and also the front doors are locked fter 10pm, so you enter your room code into a little machine to open the door. Very good, as you know that you are safe.

The room was like a box, Had a 3/4 size bed in there, it wasent quite a double!. Had a small television, toilet, shower cubical and a mini luggage storage. Its all you need for a couple of nights stay. We thought we had a problem, we used the toilet and it wouldent flush, so we went to ask for help. You have to fill the toilet up with water, theres a valve connected to the side of the toilet. Never seen one of them before!. Theres Shower gel and shampoo in the hotel aswell.

You can pay a extra 5euros each for a breakfast, but i wouldent bother! Its a waste of money. Theres 3 choices of cerial, mircowave scample egg and bacon, orange juice and a crossiant. Next time i will go into calias centre and go to a supermarket, much nicer. The breakfast area was packed and cramped, its not relaxng!

The reception is only open at certain times. If you do arrive when its closed. Theres a computer by the front door, where you can pay by card, and you get a room code on there. We didnt use it, but it looked pretty simple.

This hotel is a decent cheap hotel, its clean and theres a secure carpark, and thats all we wanted. I would rather of stayed in the other hotel in coquelles though , beacuase it was near buffalo grill!( See my reviews about that place). Check out there website though and you can get come good bargains on there and late deal offers!. I will deffo use this chain again!
