Not so much a Palace as a home away from home. (Bangkok Palace Hotel)
Member Name: DENNISL
Advantages: Tucked away from the noise and fumes but an easy walk to shops Disadvantages: Waitress's who kneel when serving you drinks while you watch the football
My wife and i stayed at the Bangkok palace in May 2006 and found it the perfect hang-out reflecting the spirit and soul of Bangkok itself,Tucked away under a scruffy looking flyover at first sight the hotel looks rundown and dirty, but step inside this pearl of the orient and you are in for a pleasent suprise, smartly dressed staff are helpful but respectful of your privacy, curtious without being cold. Summary: Budget rooms ,service that made us feel like royalty |
