The location of the hotel, in my opinion was ideal. Situated partway up the Para.lel road it was only a 5-10 minute stroll down to the lovely Port Vell area and the same distance to La Rambla. There are a wide variety of restaurants all within a couple of kilometres walk from the hotel and examples of stunning contemporary architecture all around; as close as directly across the road from the hotel.

I booked this hotel after reading good reivews for a city break in May 2006, and I was not disappointed. We stayed for 3 nights and could not find fault with the hotel. The rooms are attractive, very spacious, clean, light and fully air conditioned. The bed was a very supportive and comfortable super kingsize. There was plenty of wardrobe space, the bathroom was large and spotlessly clean and we found the staff friendly and helpful at all times. The location of the hotel, in my opinion was ideal.
