The lobby of the hotel is very large and had a quiet feel about it. It has a very high ceiling and is glass fronted with several overly large glass double doors. This review is of the Bayview Hotel Melaka, the second hotel we stayed at during our recent visit to Malaysia. We travelled by bus from Kuala Lumpur to Melaka, buses leave around every 30 minutes or so and we were told it would take 2.30 hours but in reality we arrived in just under 2 hours. Melaka Sentral the main station is a little way out of the main town at around 5KM's, but there is a bus that will take you into the town and handily the Bayview Hotel is on this bus route so the transit was pretty easy.
