Advantages: Everything- one of the best all-inclusive hotels I've stayed at!

Disadvantages: Nothing- except you don't want to come home

I first visited this hotel nearly 5 years ago in the November- booking last minute after persuasion off my family to go with them. I really didn't want to go- I mean, who goes to spain in Winter? It's not usually that much warmer than it is here!

Well, mum woke me up at 4:00am on the morning of our flight and we travelled to Manchester airport. It was cold, dark and raining as we were travelling, making me even more miserable about going.

Check-in was quick and we took off on-time.
Just under 3 hours later we landed in Malaga. The weather- cloudy and drizzly, great I thought, what a holiday I was going to have.
We boarded the coach and arrived at the beach club 20 mins later- good transfer time.

The hotel looked stunning!

We had to queue for 10 mins at reception for our rooms, but when it came to our turn, we were very satisfied. The staff were polite and friendly, well spoken english and very informative. They placed our all-inclusive wristbands on us, pink for children and green for adults and then we went to the lifts to go to our rooms. There was 4 lifts, so we were only waiting a couple of minutes with our luggage.

We were allocated to the 3rd floor with rooms NEXT TO EACH OTHER as we requested- excellent!

The rooms were of a very comfortable size, with twin beds, 2 wardrobes (with extra blankets) a safe, (tiny fee!!), a massive dressing table and mirror, sky t.v- no charge!, (a fridge- even though we were all-in) and even 2 bottles of wine and a tea and coffee welcoming packs! The bathroom was exceptionally clean, consisting of a shower/bath, toilet and beede, towel rack with towels provided and soap and shower gel pack- courtesy of the hotel.

We had rooms overlooking the pool area which we didn't mind, even though we requested sea-view rooms, but we were so impressed with what we had already, that was only minor. My bad mood had already lifted- so had the rain and it was warm and sunny, with barely any clouds in the sky.

We were all starving, as it had been hours since we'd eaten (we didn't have the meals on the plane), so we made our way down to the restaurant which we found easily as it was in the reception area.

The restaurant was a good size, so we had no trouble finding a clean table to seat 5 of us. Also, plenty of high chairs if you have children with you.
The self-service bar is centred and in the shape of a square, and made us even more hungry as it looked so delicious and was presented well. Everything was available from soups to cold meats and salads to hot dishes of local fish and other various meat. A chef was in the middle of the square, carving a warm lamb joint, which crumbled as he sliced as it was so tender- it was mouth watering! The array of desserts was endless too, ranging from ice-cream and cake, to fruit and jellies-absolutely delicious!

Drinks- well they are out of this world! As an all-inclusive customer, you can have absolutely anything including delicious cocktails and other well known brands such as Baileys, Malibu and Smirnoff Vodka. The only catch is, that you can only get 2 drinks at a time per visit to the bar. Not a problem, if you take it in turns to go to the bar.

The waiters come around during dinner, when it's a little more formal than breakfast and lunch (but still comfortable nontheless)offering wines and drinks- save you going yourself, doesn't it? Well- half the time, I think they just want to come and have a chat with you, they were always friendly and constantly smiling!

When we had well and truly stuffed ourselves, we proceeded to go downstairs to check out the night entertainment.

Bingo, quizzes, a live show, disco, childrens disco and games happened 6 times a week- so you have no shortage of things for you and the kids to do at night. However, there is still the usual on offer, such as game machines and pool tables.

In the day, entertainment, is mainly focused just outside the hotel, where you can participate in activities such as, tennis, volleyball, golf, rifle-shooting and many more. A few times a week, you join in a game of water polo- ideal for the men!

As there is always so much going on in the hotel, you may not even want to venture out to explore the resort.
But, if you do, the hotel is located right next to a glorious and VERY clean beach and within about 10 minute walking distance to a few shops. If you want the resort nightlife, probably best to get a taxi, as the closer you get to town, the more hills you have to climb!

My bad mood didn't come back all week- I honestly really enjoyed myself and the family too, there was not anything I could complain about.
Well there can't be, because I've been back twice again and my parents go back twice a year! Nothing has changed, (unless you count the food which just keeps getting better!) except the staff no us on a first name basis now!

Summary: Ideal for people of all ages, it's a winner with everyone
