The bath room had beige and gold tiles from floor to ceiling and it was quite apparent that this had only just been done out. The Beauchief hotel has recently been refurbished so I decided to give it a visit last month when I went to Sheffield to visit family. I had always heard bad reports about this hotel but the rates were very reasonable at £50 per night for a double en suite room and breakfast the following morning. It was under new management so worth a try. It is situated on the Abbeydale Road and about ten minutes drive from the city centre so a very good location. I particularly liked the large gardens around it they were very well kept and it was a treat to have a stroll after driving for four hours in a tranquil atmosphere.
