The hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam, approximately 5 minutes walk from Grand Centraal Station. It's also within easy walking distance of all of Amsterdam's attractions: Dam Square, Anne Frank's house, the Damrak and of course the red light district! ;) From the outside it's a fairly traditional Amsterdamian terraced building, but is nice and modern ... more ... on the inside. After quickly checking-in we were shown to our room which can only be described as... small.

We stayed at the Bellevue Hotel in Amsterdam for 5 nights at the beginning of March 2008. I've already reviewed the wonderful city of Amsterdam separately and so this review will focus solely on the hotel. I can't remember how we came about choosing this hotel, but it was probably due to the other half's obsession with Trip Advisor where the hotel was quite highly-rated and (importantly) quite cheap... for Amsterdam. Unfortunately because it was over a year ago, I can't remember exactly how cheap, but I think it was around £250-£300 for 5 nights for the 2 of us. Anyway, onto the hotel...
