A short breakfast bar separated this area from the living part of the apartment; sitting eating a fresh fruit breakfast at the breakfast bar while watching the day heat up outside is a wonderfully calming feeling. The kitchen consisted of a good quality (yet simple to use) coffee maker, a small combination microwave-grill, a kettle which didn’t work and some cupboard space. We rented a Studio Suite for a weeks stay in Benalmadena last summer. We'd originally chosen the Benal Beach Apartments because of its close proximity to both the beach and Benalmadena centre. I wasn't impressed with the sleeping arrangements, as when we arrived we realised that we'd booked a suite with no bedroom and had simply been provided with two fold out kids size sofa beds which could be pushed together to kind of resemble a double bed. We had gone on holiday as a couple to apartments which looked mature and definitely not child friendly, so to be treated like kids at bedtime was a bit much!
