 ... top floor (room 409 if you ever go there) which had perfectly adequate space and, most important, a bath and a shower. The room didn’t have much by way of windows and views but then again we hadn’t come to spend time sitting in our room! It was, however, perfectly comfortable, clean and with more than adequate wardrobe space and a mini-fridge. Those of you who have read my review of our recent skiing holiday to Saalbach in Austria will know that I promised you a review of the hotel in which we stayed. Well, here it is! This must be a record for getting a new category added! Berger’s Sporthotel was chosen very much from the description of it in the Thomson holiday brochure. The reason we chose was its proximity to the ski lifts and on the price of the holiday itself. We were staying Half-Board. This is not our preferred choice; normally we go Self-catering or, if we have to use a hotel then B&B. In Austria you have little choice. Location ~~~~~~~~~~ Berger’s Sporthotel ...
