It did have plenty of wardrobe space, a good sized bathroom (bigger than mine at home!) a mini-bar, a TV, and about a foot n half either side of the bed. When Mr M said he was taking me off to Paris, he also suggested we use DooYoo to narrow down the choice of hotels. After reading the other review on the Best Western Jardin de Cluny Hotel, our minds were made up. We'd found our hotel. Arriving on the Eurostar into Gard du Nord, we joined the queue for the taxis, and were promptly deposited at our hotel around ten minutes after climbing aboard (oh and about 13euro) After checking in (and a mix up over who's name it was booked in) the receptionist changed our room. For our recent holiday in Paris we were looking for a centrally-located hotel with a mid-range level of facilities. My searching narrowed the selection down to two, from which we picked this hotel, and a fantastic choice it proved to be. The lovely Jardin de Cluny hotel is on Rue du Sommerard in the 5th arrondissement of Paris - the area known as the Latin Quarter. It provided us with an ideal base for exploring the immediate area, including Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint-Louis, as well as having excellent public transport links.
