4 star hotel! (Best Western City Hotel Moran, Prague)

Disadvantages: Room small.

I was planning a trip to Prague with a group of friends earlier this year. Some of them had been before and stayed in this hotel and they insisted that we stay there again. Now I have been, I can see why.

We arrived at the Best Western hotel earlier than check in, about 10 o clock in the morning and they let us into our rooms immediately. For this reason alone I would recommend the hotel.

I was impressed with the building even as we pulled up. On the outside it was old and had character, yet showed no signs of being dirty or tatty. Inside it was all new, modern and clean. The reception area was small but inviting and the bar area was spacious and friendly.

Our room was new, as with the rest of the hotel. Our bathroom was gorgeous, but the downside was we only had a bath and no proper shower in the bath. The bedroom was tiny, but clean, but the size didnt bother me as we were going to spend most of our time exploring.

The hotel was ideally located in the centre of the city and close to all the attractions. It was down a side road which was a little quiter, whcih was good as our bedroom was at the front of the hotel, and I would rather not be woken up by noise!

I would recommend this hotel as a good base for the city. If you want large luxurious rooms this is not for you, but for the average traveller, this is spot on!
