Trying to pick accommodation was quite a challenge for my recent holiday, not least as I needed at least four separate hotels over a ten day period, and it is easy to make a mistake and pick a location that isn’t quite right or a hotel that looks great on the web but is not like that in reality. I had been doing most of my research via Tripadvisor.com and had sorted out the first two nights, but despite extensive research on the site, I couldn’t make our (!) minds up where to stay within the Lake Tahoe, CA region or indeed what budget.
