Trying to pick accommodation was quite a challenge for my recent holiday, not least as I needed at least four separate hotels over a ten day period, and it is easy to make a mistake and pick a location that isn’t quite right or a hotel that looks great on the web but is not like that in reality. I had been doing most of my research via Tripadvisor.com and had sorted out the first two nights, but despite extensive research on the site, I couldn’t make our (!) minds up where to stay within the Lake Tahoe, CA region or indeed what budget. When it got to the day before, and we were in Yosemite NP however, I realised it was time to stop searching and take action. ...
