Newest Review: ... stateside. We cruised around and stumbled upon a gem - the appallingly named 'Budget Suites of America'!!! Damn, ... more  ... thinks I, as I go into the reception office to make enquiries (womens work, apparently) - I had hoped to get to stay on the strip. Well this story has a happy ending. Budget Suites - it's located off Tropicana, by the way - is fantastic. You get what would be a lovely one bedroom flat here, complete with separate lounge and groovy Yank kitchen, for buttons. Ok, not buttons - 100 bucks weekend, dropping to 50 bucks on Sunday. BARGAIN! The suites are arranged like a very upmarket apartment complex, with lovely land...more |

Everybody loves Vegas!! There aren't enough superlatives in our language to describe the thrills and excitement us Brits experience when we get out there and see it for ourselves. Well, I had dreamed of Vegas for years - literally. When my boyfriend and I finally made it there last year, I was determined to do it in style. We had no advance bookings, and the tourist offices (friendly, polite) along the way told us that as we were arriving at the weekend we'd have to pay double the week rate. DOH!
