Advantages: Close to the subway, clean, helpful staff, good facilities.

Disadvantages: None.

I stayed in a hostel in Buenos Aires called Tango Backpackers (a good name, as the Tango is the dance of Argentina!) and I liked the hostel a lot.

I booked it online before I went, through a well known website.

I stayed in a private room (although there are many different types of rooms to stay in, including dormitories and private rooms that accommodate more people) and I was very happy with the room- it was clean and bigger than the private rooms that I've stayed in in some other hostels.

The location of the hostel was nice. It is in Palermo, which is one of the nicest parts of Buenos Aires. It was close to the subte (the name of the subway in Buenos Aires) station, which meant that you could go to other parts of the city really easily. (The subte is very cheap by the way- about 20pence (GBP) for each journey!)

I found the staff to be helpful and friendly, and whenever you had a question they would try to answer it.

I thought that the facilities, especially the free internet and the use of the kitchen, were good.

I would stay here again.

Summary: Recommended place to stay in Buenos Aires.
