For me, Cairo is a must when going to Egypt, and we stayed in this hotel for a night when we went over there during our trip in the summer. The Sheraton was in an ideal location in the centre of Downtown Cairo. Brilliant location. The rooms were quite big, but one thing we did have to do was change ours as the lighting in the bathroom was not good, and was loose. However, they were very accomodating. Walk out of the hotel and the Nile is not far away. Fantastic at sunset to walk across one of the bridges and take in the atmosphere. The food places are not far away, we went for a McDonalds at 3am within 5 minutes walk. The hotel itself is ...
