Advantages: Great food, close to Disney

Disadvantages: Small rooms

The Campanile at Bussy St George is situated in Marne La Vallee a few Kilometres from Disneyland Paris by road. In fact that whole town of Bussy St George was built to accomodate the tourists who go there, and the workers who commute the two stops on the train. The train station is about five minutes walk from the hotel. There is a good range of of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes in Bussy St George.

All the hotels in the Campanile chain are much the same. A family room costs about 80 Euro per night, but they do terrific offers which can cut this in half. Always checkout the website before you book. The Bussy St George Campanile has 97 rooms on 3 floors. They are all very compact with tiny shower or bathrooms. The rooms are really designed just for sleeping in, with comfy double or twin and pull out beds. Get up and get out for the day. Go back at bedtime.

There is a free car park which is shared with it's bargain basement sister hotel the Premier Classe. This means that it can be difficult to find a parking space at certain times.

When you arrive you will find a large well appointed reception area which leads on into the bar area and the restaurant. This is where the Campanile excels. The food in the restaurant is great, so good that the locals sometimes eat there, but the service can be patchy. The buffet at about Euro12-18 a head for a two or three course meal is extremely good value.

It is a good idea to try and learn a little bit of French before you go, but most of the reception staff speak English and some of the other staff will have as tb at it. (Tip the Campanile at Roissy a few mile away is more English oriented).

Summary: It's fine for the purpose, and good value for the money
