tiggr Sol Club Cayo Guillermo
... returned from the Sol Cayo Guillermo Cuba. Can honestly say this is the worst Hotel that I have ever stayed in. Rated as a 4* but would be pushing it if it was rated 2* by any Countries standards. Food was awful. Covered in flies all the time, Chefs wiping their faces and noses on their hands as the Extractor Fans did not work. They then picked up the food with their Hands. My Daughter received several Electric Shocks from the Wall Lights, one of the shocks threw her across the room breaking an Ashtray, she attempted to clear the glass, cut her hand so left it where it had broken under the bed assuming the Maid would clean it up the next day. 12 Days later the ...

... needed them. The hotel was all-inclusive so all our food and drinks were free, we mainly ate at the buffet, I have never seen so much of food, we were overwhelmed when we first saw the amount of food you could choose from. There are 7 restaurants, including 5 a la carte; Italian buffet, Spanish, Oriental/Japanese, Steakhouse grill, Caribbean and seafood. The food was good, well cooked and tasty. There was also a Theatre for shows, Sports bar/disco and a casino. As well as a few shops and bars. I must also give a mention to the friendly and very happy staff. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is always smiling. The Dominican people were great and made us ...

... is a 3 star hotel located in St Lawrence Gap. I had an ocean view room on the 2nd floor near the small pool. I really couldn t fault the hotel at all. The view from our room was perfect - palm trees, white sand and the Caribbean sea. We did not opt for the suite with a separate kitchen however we still had a sink, fridge and a kettle, which was adequate for us - we were room only and knowing the cost of food in Barbados decided to save a few $ s onbreakfast - we took 2 plastic plates and some plastic cutlery with us and went to the local shop and bought some bread, cheese, ham and nutella which was perfect for a breakfast on the balcony and was a lovely start to the...
