The local rum is nice and probably the cheapest thing to drink. If you prefer to cook for yourself the complex has a small shop, or you can visit another which is a stones throw away. If you prefer the big supermarkets that we have at home, then you can hire a taxi, or use a car if you hire one and visit a hypermarket which is about 5/10 mins away. It's worth hiring a car to go exploring, it's safe and you aren't pestered. There are beautiful places to visit such as the remote 'Flower Forest'. The scen... more

A few of our friends have stayed here and recommend it to us. If you don't like the modern, flashy hotels then this is the place for you. The premises are set amongst tropical gardens that lead to the beach. It has blocks of apartments that are only 3/4 stories high with it's own laundary in each one. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. What more can you ask for? The restaurants serve really nice food all day long, and even A La carte in the evening if you prefer.
