The lobby is very small with a few comfortable seats but was very functional rather than a place where you might sit and chat with friends. Altamar Aparthotel (Peurto Rico) ... s not easy job to decide where to go for your first, proper holidays. Especially when you go for such a trip with girlfriend. We went there without any knowledge of Gran Canaria, Puerto Rico resort or even where you stay. All we knew: should be warm, hotel has 3 stars and our board basis. So this is how it went. One week of holidays in Altamar Apart Hotel costed us £260 per person. Our basis - self catering. It is not easy to find such a price in season so that s a bargain. How we got there I and my girlfriend landed there in April the 10th at night (early morning around 5am). Wasn t busy at the airport that time so all luggage think didn t take us long. Outside... Club Hotel Riu Bambu ... s a year since i went to the Dominica Republic on my holiday. I didn t know what to expect. But by the end of the holiday i didn t want to leave! Riu is one of the best all inclusive resorts i have ever stayed at. It guarantees a great time as well as good food and amazing spanish and carribean atmosphere. I didn t feel that because i was in a resort that i wasn t getting a real experience of the domincan, because of a lot of the culture was right there in the resort in the form of the holiday reps, who were by the way really great!
