Hotel Santa Lucia (Merida):
... open shelves and a rail. Overall it gave the feeling of being neat, clean and spacious, if a little basic. The small bathroom had a shower, WC and sink with a complimentary bar of soap. As is typical of most Central American hotels, you only get one bath towel and no hand towel. Although the room had an air conditioner (it was 35C) is was an old noisy, rattelly thing that made it impossible to sleep. Fortunately ... RIU Tequila ... husband and I visited the Clubhotel Riu Tequila two years a go for our honeymoon. We both liked the idea of trying Mexico as a holiday location, as we were looking for a non-European holiday destination and it sounded like quite an exotic location, but with reasonable priced hotels compared to other worldwide destinations. General Information Temperatures in Mexico between April and October are 30 degrees plus, so it can become extremely hot and sticky. You also need to be aware of the chance of hurricanes in this part of the world. We missed Hurricane Emily by only a matter of weeks, so we were extremely lucky!! Plane journey time is about 10 and a half hours. We... Read the full review: Fancy a Tequila?? by nessie3105 |

Copacabana Hotel ... I have been to the Copacabana once before, and this was my second time. Every time I have come down here, the staff has always been very helpful and willing to give their 100%. This time when I came down, they now have a new jacuzzi tub, which made me feel like I was in heaven. I have always found the food in the restaurant to be at such a great value for the portion. I enjoy eating at the copacabana much more than going out to the other restaurants in jaco. One last thing, the sunset in Jaco is one of the most beautiful around, and especially when you get to view it from the balcony at the Copacabana. ,Can t wait to go back... Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino ... Curacao is probably the best hotel in that beautiful dutch island. No, it is not a beer commercial, it is simply just the truth. Conveniently situated at 10 minutes by car from the airport and another 10 minutes from Willemstad, the island capital, Marriot Curacao is a gorgeous hotel, in a pale pink, colonial style building. It s private beach with white sand is the perfect spot to enjoy the Caribbean sun and to take a swim in the blue water of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel also features a swimming pool, right near the beach, with sun-lounges all around it. A pool bar is also there, so you can have a relaxing cocktail or a refreshing Amstell Bright, the beer made...
