We've just come back from a week's holiday at the Lanzarote Bay Hotel, where we stayed on an All-Inclusive basis. We travelled with Panorama Holidays, and couldn't fault them one iota. After a very long time travelling for our three year old, we finally arrived at the hotel on a Thursday evening at about 9.30pm. The hotel was very welcoming - if not loud at that particular time, as the entertainment in the basement bar/show place was in full swing at the time - but it gave us a taste of what we were expecting from a predominantly english-filled hotel complex. Even though the restaurant had closed for the evening we were still welcomed to a ... Read the complete review

My family and I went to Lanzarote where we stayed at the Lanzarote Bay hotel. We traveled with MyTravel, the conglomerate that includes Airtours, direct holidays Panorama and the travel agent Going Places. This op will mainly concentrate on the hotel with a few comments about MyTravel. The hotel is in Costa Tequise which is about a 20 minute drive from the airport. We arrived at our hotel at 10:40pm, half an hour after we should have because of a baggage handling delay. No one was available to help us to our room and we were on the third floor. Considering that it was January and we had been warned about the high winds etc (this was our first trip out there) we were not expecting the weather to be brilliant. Admittedly it did rain quite heavily on the first day, but we had glorious sunshine every day after and came back with a wonderful tan. (much to the jealousy of co-workers!!) :o) We travelled with Airtours, and couldn't fault them one bit. We went on an organised trip of the Island which was fantastic value, plus you get to see some places ... Read the complete review

five star for families, we stayed at the Lanzarote Bay hotel in Costa Teguise we went with Thomson but I believe that it is now with direct holidays. Thay have apartment style rooms, on two storeys but I highly reccomend you go for top floor because people scraping chairs in the room above is suprisingly loud. They had a courtesy - and very frequent - bus to the bay which is where we played football with Italian and German families. The weather is fantastic but some people don't like the wind, if you do go, be sure to take advantage of the loca buses because they are cheap and high quality like national express coach standard ...
