Colby Hill Inn (Henniker, New Hampshire)

This Inn holds a special place in my heart as it is where my now husband, then boyfriend, and I took our first vacation together. We were just kids really, I 18, he 19. And we have returned once a year, sometimes twice a year ever since. One of the reasons I speak so highly of Colby Hill is because we were treated just as nicely on our first visit as we are today, despite the fact that back then we ate a dinner we had packed picnic style in our room and now we eat in their lovely dining room and splurge on eighty dollar bottles of wine.
