Crowne Plaza Hotel (Bruges)

Stayed here for a long weekend in May, paid for with Priority Club points thank you work. As you would expect of teh Crown In chain very clean modern hotel. Centrally located just off the main square. Car parking is available undergroung TG for satnav would never have found it with the maze of streets in Brugges Staff very friendly easy to check in also helpful with information about the events in town. We saw the Procession of the Holy Blood very interesting took over an hour and a half to pass any one point Brugges is a very well kept town overrun with tourists. It's a funny place Belgium; a little country, artificially constructed to include groups of people that don't really belong together, strategically placed to keep other bigger countries apart and full of expats and diplomats serving NATO and the European Union. Belgium is also of course famous for its overall lack of famous people - Jean Claude Vandamme, Eddie Mercx and Audrey Hepburn - oh, and Johnnie Halliday but everyone thinks he's French.
