Greetings holiday trippers, and welcome to my second Canada 2008 based reviews. All queries to the previous line should be directed to my similarly thorough CN Tower review. (plugtastic!) Ok - first holiday hint. The established chain hotels are often far cheaper to book through the travel websites: we used Lastminute, for instance. They're quite happy to throw a few dozen rooms a night onto these websites for advance bookings, to turnover a steady income stream. Our stay cost us about £50 per night for a double room, which compared favourably with other Downtown hotels in the city. Right - nagging over. On with the ...

I stayed here a while back with my parents. It was just a two or three night stay I think...and we really just used the hotel as a base to explore Toronto. After a really long flight we received a warm welcome when we reached the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable so we were quite impressed considering that it wasn't too expensive either! I know that there are nicer hotels in the Downtown Toronto area and you get what you pay for but this was perfect for our specific needs. And why pay more when you can get excellent service here that doesn't cost a fortune!? The staff were courteous and helpful, they even helped us plan our sightseeing ...
