Advantages: As this is a DVC hotel you dont have to worry abou the costs

Disadvantages: You are on the edge of Disney and it is a long jouney to some of the parks.

Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a Disney Vacation Club Hotel in Walt Disney World Resort Florida. The Hotel was opened in May 2004 and is the seventh Disney Vacation Club resort. The hotel is on the former site of the Disney Institute which was moved to another location so the hotel could be built. It is styled to look like an 1880's Victorian, upstate New York lakeside retreat and is the largest Disney Vacation Club resort ever made.
The hotel is opposite Downtown Disney so offers a great location for evening entertainment. Also the Hotel has 1 or 4 Disney Golf course winding through its grounds. The Golf course is Lake Buena Vista and the clubhouse is in the hotel as well. So if you love golf it's a great hotel to stay at.
The hotel is split in to 5 hotel blocks. The Springs, The Carousel, The Paddock, Congress Park, The Grandstand. Each hold a number of studio room, Villas and grand villas. All together the hotel has 1260 rooms.
All the hotel rooms offer guests a full kitchenette with microwaves, fridge and toaster, bathrooms, one queen bed and a one sleeper sofa. The rooms are big will loads of space.
The hotel has 4 dinning options
The Artist's Palette is a market-style counter service eatery.
The Turf Club Bar & Grill a sit down service restaurant for lunch and dinner.
On The Rocks Pool Bar is the main poolside bar
Back Stretch Pool Bar is a pool par at the Grandstand pool.
The hotel offers many recreational activities. A main pool, three additional pools, a spa and fitness centre, bike rentals, an arcade. The Spa offers professional spa treatments and packages.
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is served by bus to all the theme parks and as the hotel is so big it has five bus stops so you don't have to walk far. Also as downtown Disney is only over the lake you can get a boat outside the hotel over to the entertainment.
This is a big but lovely hotel with lots to do. You can only stay here if you have purchased Disney Vacation club so there is not cost for staying here.
