Disney Vacation Club is concept created by The Walt Disney Company in which families purchase points that get renewed each year that allow them to stay an Hotels and resorts around the globe (A kind of vacation timeshare) In order to become a DVC member you must purchase a one-time real estate interest in one of the Disney Resorts. The membership has an expiration date of 50 years but you can buy again when that deal expires. But if you purchase this when you are say 25 you would be 75 when it comes to an end. I was an early purchaser of the real estate interest that was Disney Vacation Club. (DVC). I have been a member since November 1992 and was the second person from the UK to sign up. My family have made more than a dozen visits since then. In the early days promotion was very low key: there were advertisements in the buses and a single information booth tucked away in the corner of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom.
