The hotel has a great location, directly on the beautiful beach. A predominantly family hotel with great atmosphere, the Doreta Beach is a fun place for children and has spacious lawns leading down to the tree-lined beach. Open: From April to October. Year of Renovation: 1996/2001/2004. Number of Floors: 6. Number of Rooms: 380 The Hotel's beach has been awarded with the European Blue Flag for the last 4 years. The Doreta Beach Rhodes has also been awarded for 7 years for its high standard of service from various Tour Operators, such as Thomson, Airtours,Medhotels....etc.

 ... is on the 'windy' side of the island but in the summer this is a nice breeze. We went in June 08 and the weather was fab! The staff were really friendly and put on lots of activities but were not pushy to join in. They give certificates when you win which was ideal for the kids. There were a lot of kids at this hotel but the animation team run kids clubs. We hired a car from the man over the road and went on a day trip to Lindos (well worth a trip with beautiful views). This was my first time in Greece we had a trip to Rhodes town on the bus, well worth the money but the bus was packed and had no seats, the temperature in the bus was horrendous. The pool area was very clean and plenty of sun beds. The hotel is on the 'windy' side of the island but in the summer this is a nice breeze. We went in June 08 and the weather was fab! The staff were really friendly and put on lots of activities but were not pushy to join in. They give certificates when you win which was ideal for the kids.
