Upon taking our seats a waiter promptly arrived with two big coconuts with lovely decorations of flowers and an umbrella. Compliments of the hotel (and we hadn’t even got a room yet). They contained a lovely non-alcoholic coconut flavored beverage that me and my wife both thoroughly enjoyed. I must share with you all my wonderful experience at the Dusit Thani hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. We were on honeymoon during April 1984 and we decided to make an unscheduled stop at Bangkok. Originally our flight was from Singapore to Hong Kong but since the flight, Cathy Pacific, was making a stop in Bangkok, we decided to add it to our itinerary. I had heard of this hotel from my family and friends and we headed straight for it. On arrival at the Dusit Thani, we were extremely impressed with the main entrance hall and the lovely surroundings such as a waterfall and little boutiques.
