The rooms are great, Very clean and friendly staff, Bathroom is great, marble and comes with shower gel etc. all the essentials, The beds are comfy except the sofa bed which is hard and you can feel the metal pole underneath which is disturbing through the night, The tv it good and has cable so you have lots of good channels. The edison hotel in time square is a good hotel overall. Starting with the location, I can't complain, It is a 20 second walk to the heart of times square and easy access to most places on manhattan. Inside the hotel, the reception area is quite good, very busy as it is New York but also because there is a diner connected to the hotel next to the reception, The lounge is tidy with comfy sofas but it is very small and no food or drink is allowed in, which is dissapointing if you want a coffee and relax. Dreadful - Advantages: Good location- right in the centre of Broadway - Disadvantages: Poor up-keep and management. Unhelpful staff at reception, Toilets over-flowing..., Brown-ish water ?!?!?
