Etap Hotel

My experience of Etap hotels extends only to the hotel in Cardiff. The first time I booked the Etap in Cardiff was when my football team were playing a game at the Millenium Stadium and we wanted somewhere reasonably cheap to stay for the night. At £35 a night, this was by far the cheapest hotel and we booked 2 rooms, and another family member booked another 2 (independant of my booking). We arrived at the hotel around 1pm on a Saturday afternoon, and it was bustling with football fans and the check in took longer than it would normally. You will probably all be aware of the "budget" hotel chains such as Travel Inn, Travel Lodge, and Holiday Inn Express. If you have travelled into Europe you will also be familiar with Ibis, Novotel and Campanile Hotels.....all providing similar accomodation at reasonable prices. You may not be aware of Etap, though, but I would suggest that if you are ever looking for accommodation on a tight budget, that you give them a try. I travel around the country on a budget quite frequently and so I've become quite familiar with Travelodge, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Ibis and other budget hotel chains. One of the most recent of these to open in the UK is the E Tap chain which is part of the accor group (Ibis, Novotel etc). E Tap have opened hotels in a number of UK towns and cities over the last couple of years. Last time I visited Cardiff there was a big event on in the city and so all the hotels we might usually have stayed in were fully booked and so we came to try the E Tap Cardiff Central. I am sure that we have all heard about cost valuable airline company easyjet. Guess what? The company has also included accomodation in their offer. They have just a few hotels around the Europe (London, Zurich, Budapest,...) at the moment but they are recently working on the new ones as well. The best side of this hotels chain is that you exactly know what to expect. Hotel pride are more than valuable (depends on the destionation). Another good point is that all the rooms in easyjet hotels have the same standards. They all have wc and shower. They also have tv screens but you have to pay additional money for using it.
