I travel around the country on a budget quite frequently and so I've become quite familiar with Travelodge, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Ibis and other budget hotel chains. My experience of Etap hotels extends only to the hotel in Cardiff. The first time I booked the Etap in Cardiff was when my football team were playing a game at the Millenium Stadium and we wanted somewhere reasonably cheap to stay for the night. You will probably all be aware of the "budget" hotel chains such as Travel Inn, Travel Lodge, and Holiday Inn Express.
