The Excalibur Hotel and Casino is located on the South of the Strip and is by the New York New York and MGM Grand hotels. The hotel has a Medieval theme and its exterior is designed to look like a castle. Check In was efficient, friendly and quick. As most hotels in Vegas, there is a lot of walking and this was no different, it took a little while to get to our room. The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable, and with the mid week price deals you couldn't ask for much more - there are some bargains to be had! The hotel has plenty of tables for all tastes. I was able to get a free poker lesson and play a real game against those who had just had the lesson. the croupier was polite and patient! The pool here is ok - quite large but when busy I imagine it is a bit of a squeeze for people to find space to enjoy the sun! The hotel has a great show 'Tournament of Kings' set in its basement. It is a show set in medieval times which really involves the audience. Dinenr is included and it is back to basics - no cutlery! I would stay at this hotel again as it provides a comfortable base for exploring the strip!
