Excalibur Hotel, Las Vegas (Excalibur Hotel and Casino)
Member Name: motokak
Advantages: Clean, comfortable, fun Disadvantages: Long walks to the rooms The Excalibur Hotel and Casino is located on the South of the Strip and is by the New York New York and MGM Grand hotels. The hotel has a Medieval theme and its exterior is designed to look like a castle. Check In was efficient, friendly and quick. As most hotels in Vegas, there is a lot of walking and this was no different, it took a little while to get to our room. The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable, and with the mid week price deals you couldn't ask for much more - there are some bargains to be had! The hotel has plenty of tables for all tastes. I was able to get a free poker lesson and play a real game against those who had just had the lesson. the croupier was polite and patient! The pool here is ok - quite large but when busy I imagine it is a bit of a squeeze for people to find space to enjoy the sun! The hotel has a great show 'Tournament of Kings' set in its basement. It is a show set in medieval times which really involves the audience. Dinenr is included and it is back to basics - no cutlery! I would stay at this hotel again as it provides a comfortable base for exploring the strip! Summary: Great base for exploring Vegas |
