We stayed at the Expo Hotel Valencia *** in July 2008. The hotel is situated near the historic center (20 min. by feet). It was very nice, clean and perfectly logistically situated (metro, bus and taxi just in front of the hotel). We lived at the 11th floor and didn't hear any noise from the street. At the roof (12th floor) there was pool incl. sun beds (for free) and a bar. The pool was opened from 11 am to 9 pm during the summer time. The bar closed at 3 am. If you have the choice, don't choose 11th floor, cause you'll hear noises from the bar and the pool. 9th and 10th floor would be better :)

The best at the hotel is the breakfast buffet. It's really a buffet and not just one sort of cheese and sausages. You have different sorts of eggs, sausages and cheeses. Hot bacon, hot mushrooms. All kinds of fresh fruits. A variety of corn flakes. Diet products for diabetics, lactose-free milk. Coffee and espresso machine with coffee pads, 5-6 flavors of tea. Very large choice of juices and sweets (cakes, croissants etc). Really good!

You can rent a safe (2 euro/ day) where you can put all your valuable stuff inside. The rooms gets cleaned every day incl. change of towels etc. You have a fridge (mini bar), glasses for the drinks and TV (pay-tv) inside the room.

Summary: Recommendable!
