Fiesta Paraiso Floral

I've not long been returned from 2 glorious weeks in Tenerife. This was the first time my family had even considered it as a holiday destination. People we had spoken to had given us the impression that it was the Canaries answer to Blackpool. Not our cup of tea. So what swung it for us? The price. Now that my daughter is 15 we are finding it more and more difficult to find holidays where we can get her free in anything other than self caterering. My wife and I have made two 14-night visits to this all-inclusive hotel; the first in September 1998 on honeymoon and again in May 2001. On both occasions I have thoroughly enjoyed my holiday. Playa Paraiso is very quiet, although there was a considerable amount of building work in progress on my last visit, and I suspect this little peaceful haven is about to expand somewhat. There isn't much of a beach, but hotel guests get free admission to the lido across the road which is a very acceptable substitute.
