I have recently stayed at this hotel having previously stayed many years ago.
The hotel has changed a great deal since my previous visit which in my opinion made the stay much more enjoyable. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Previously the hotels decor was rather old fashioned and dreary, however now it is very fresh and modern and makes for a very relaxing stay.
The hotel is situated in Beaulieu Sur Mer which is a small town to the east of Nice. The location of the hotel is on a main road opposite the port with stunning views. There is a choice of beaches only a short stroll away.
Despite it being on a main road there is no disturbance once in the room. There are a number of room types available including studios and I stayed in one of the rooms with a sea view balcony which I would highly recommend due to the spectacular views. The cost for this room was roughly 140 euros per night on a room only basis. There is the option of breakfast at an extra cost.
The room itself was very large with the majority of necessary items; air conditioning, a large wardrobe, television, desk, chair and mini bar.
The bathroom was clean and spacious with a large walk in shower that had the choice of an overhead shower or handheld with varying power settings. I found this shower to be very satisfying compared to those of other hotels I have stayed in. Towels were changed on a daily basis and there was a heated towel rail which I found useful for drying beach towels etc.
The hotel has a small pool situated at the front and also lounge chairs if one wishes to use them. There is also a bar at the reception area if one wishes to have a beverage. Several leaflets and maps of the area are available from reception. It is easy to access this hotel via public transport with there being bus stops a few minutes away which travel to Nice and Monaco among other places. There is also a train station which is roughly 10 minutes walk away.
Overall I found my stay very enjoyable, in a good location and would definitely stay again.
