As we had arrived in the early afternoon, there was no problem getting a room and the manager quickly and courteously checked us in. Our room was a wonderful surprise - much better than some of the more expensive motels we had stayed at. If I were an alien I would definitely stay here! We were visiting Roswell to look for aliens and, perhaps more realisiticaly (!), to visit the UFO Research Institute that I have also written an op about. We had a voucher for this motel that we got from the internet (the New Mexico web site) so we had a bit of an incentive to stay here. The entry for it in the Lonely Planet guide was also encouraging so when we saw the motel as we pulled into Roswell, we decided to stop.
