... immaculate, the staff were wonderfully friendly, everytime we passed a member of staff they would stop and chat, ask us how we were, what we had planned that day, etc. There was a small gym, free bike hire, all meals (included packed lunches), and a bar, lounge and separate restaurant. We were given free passes to the lcoal tennis hall and swimming pool, which the manager told us was commonplace for hotels in Austria. I have stayed in lots of hotels in Britain, as I've worked in the industry, but my experience in Austria this year showed me that not all hotels are like ours! My husband and I had booked into the four star Hotel Park, in St Johann in the Tirol, for our honeymoon (we were actually getting married in St Johann). When we arrived, the manager chatted like he'd known us forever, yet he showed us a lot of respect. We were given a glass of champagne as a welcome, and asked what we would like for dinner.
