This hotel is now called the crowne plaza glasgow. The hotel has totally stunning view of the river clyde and is one of the tallest buildings in the city. The hotel is located just beside the secc so can be used for somewhere to stay when attending a concert here. The hotel has its own bus stop so getting into the city centre isn't a problem at all. The hotel has an extensive gym with all the latest equiptment or if that sounds a little like hard work there is a relaxation section where beauty treatments can be had. The hotel is really well decorated and has all the features you would expect to see in the famous crowne plaza chain. Customer service is always at the fore here and an enjoybale stay is almost guaranteed. the rooms are all well equiped with the latest facilities and very tastefully decorated. the restaurant is really excellent and quite reasonable too. Breakfast is really excellent as well.

Summary: highly recommended
