Horrible! Avoid! (Helga's Folly (Kandy, Sri Lanka))

We found the place empty, us being the only customers. This place definately needs a make over and new plumbing! Sure there are few nice corners in this chaotic ensemble - but most of them are not! And those which were nice were disturbing due to dust, spider webs, dirt and smell...
The food served to us was horrible and absolutely overpriced (20$)!!!!! They served the wrong pasta, the chicken was tough and dry and served with a starch flower sauce with no taste (a Rum chicken was promissed). We nearly didnt touch our food and uppon complaining the staff just shrugged.
We had a glimpse at the rooms also. Maybe fun for low budget but the dust, dumpy smell, holes in mosquito nets, gloomy colors certainly reduces the enjoyment I guess... And this for 120$! In Sri Lanka you can stay 3 nights in top places for this money!

Summary: Avoid and safe your money for better food and better hotels for even a longer time
