As we were very early (around 2 hours before permitted check in time) we asked if we could leave our luggage and the receptionist informed us that she would find out if our room was ready for us to check into... and it was! Premium Review Herald Square Hotel (New York City, USA): I HARKED AT THESE HERALD ANGELS! (2185 words)

I think it is essential to do your homework when visiting somewhere like New York. Introduction: Every year, my partner and I take a trip to NYC. This is more of less so I can catch up on the latest theatrical happenings on Broadway. We had our flights sorted, so needed a hotel. Although a cheap price is more important to us than quality (when it comes to city breaks, when in the city why do you need to stay in your room??) we didn't fancy going down the hostel route (we're getting too old to 'slum' it)...so on our quest to find budget or cheap hotels, after a few of our more preferred hotels were fully booked, we came across this one. So, had a look and booked online. What the Hotel says about itself: This is what their website ...  Read the complete review
