A high class hotel (Hilton in general)

I love to go on vacation, and I feel that Hiltons are really a strong and consistent line of hotels. Not only are the Hiltons great, but their extended hotel family, which includes Embassy Suites, Double Tree, Conrad, Hampton Inn, as well as others, are really also very high end.

Hilton also partners with credit card companies to offer Hilton Honors reward points. Each hotel falls under a category, and this category determines how many Hhonors points it takes for a free night. Depending on the credit card you have, you earn a certain amount of points for every purchase. They partner through American Express and VISA, but the American Express is way better (that should go without saying). The Amex card offers double the points that Visa does, and gives you an extra 10,000 points for signing up.

With my points, I recently stayed in the Hilton Resort in Sedona AZ. As with all the Hiltons I know, this was very upscale while still being relaxed. They had a restaurant with a bar as well as a poolside cafe on property. The grounds were well taken care of. The gym and outdoor swimming pool were fantastic, as well as the spa and massages they offered. There were 2 different pools, both equipped with hot tubs. There were also fire pits that were lit up at night (gas fire, but it still looked great). I did not see the ballroom as it was on the other side of the hotel, but I did see some meeting rooms and they looked high-end as well. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. I checked in and out without any problems. I could not ask for anything better.

While some Hiltons may be a little expensive, they offer more than just a room and a shower. They offer an experience. If you are more on a budget, check out one of their family hotels as they are great as well!
