... Bosphorus views. Not all the rooms have a view of the Bosphorus – only about half of them do. The others have a view of the city and some nearby gardens, which I understand are the cheaper rooms, but which still have a nice view. I was able to visit some of the larger, fancier rooms and was similarly impressed. One person with our group was a Hilton Honors holder and her room was a deluxe suite which did include coffee and tea facilities in the separate 'working/parlor' area. When trying to find a hotel to visit on vacation, one doesn't often go for the big name hotels (unless you've got a special deal, or don't care what price you're paying). But when you're away on business, you'll often be put up in larger chain hotels. That's what happened when I went to Istanbul on business and stayed at the Hilton there.
