... pot plants everywhere. I had to fill in a number of forms but the staff was very smartly dressed and very polite. I gazed around me and could see that on the next floor was a restaurant that overlooked the vast reception area. Everything was very clean and bright which you would expect from a modern day hotel. It was then off to the room to wash and change. When I got my hotel reservation for a business trip this week I was very surprised to see that it was for the Hilton in Mainz near Frankfurt. I have visited the Hilton in Swansea for conferences etc on a number of occasions and not been that impressed but really looked forward to this and thought it would change my perception. The flight into Frankfurt was rather quiet and I was looking forward to a warm bath before going out on a business meal that evening. The taxi pulled up to the front of the Hilton, which was just like the film.
