However, ... more  ... there was a degree of noise from the other rooms that also had windows that opened onto the atrium. Storage is provided for your ski gear in a kit room that opens onto the lowest garage level. To get out of the building having kitted up you have to walk up a fairly steep ramp to the upper garage level, from where you can walk out to the street. There is a lift, in fact two of them, but only one goes down to the lowest level. When busy the wait is quite long. Usually it is better to walk. Returning is a little more...more |

We stayed last year in Soldeu at the Himalaia Hotel. We greatly enjoyed our stay in Soldeu and the Himalaia proved to be a satisfactory base for our visit, not perfect but then again, you don't look to spend a lot of time in the hotel. All you really need is somewhere clean, warm, comfortable and close to the skiing. On that count it met our requirements and if anything let it down it was the food provided, which was mediocre though edible. Having decided to return to Andorra again this year, this time basing ourselves in Pas de la Casa, it seemed natural to choose the Himalaia Hotel in that town.
