I have stayed at many of these hotels through my travels in the uk and must admit that on a whole, Holiday Inn are fairly cheap and cheerful, great for the purpose intended, which for me is usually a quick pit stop on route to an airport etc.... I am not usually one to generalise but I found the staff at most if not all hotels to be cheerful and helpful. In my opinion, unless you are paying for a 5 star hotel somewhere abroad, you generally get what you pay for and this is true of Holiday Inn. Hardly hotels to plan anything more than a 3 night break in but definetly worth a look for an over night business trip or the likes. Of course you ... Read the complete review

Last weekend I had a very pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn which was situated south of Chester. It was my first experience with this chain of hotels and I must say I was most impressed. Booking I decided to book this break on the spur of the moment. The weather had been glorious the weekend before and I thought it would be wonderful to get away for a couple of days. I hit on the idea of Chester as I thought that it would be rather nice to take my son to the zoo. After searching the web for suitable hotels I found that most were quite expensive and also fully booked. I came across the Holiday Inn hotel on the www.superbreak.com site. I was able to check ... An opinion on Holiday Inn, the new name for the Posthouse chain of hotels. Over the last few years whenever I have been Travelling somewhere in the UK I have always stopped in these hotels. I have stayed in the Great Barr Birmingham hotel twice now and also there hotel in Salsbury(near Oxford) and have called in many more for lunch etc and love the quality of service that they offer. First of all their hotels are always clean, from your room to the Fitness clubs, which I find to be there biggest strength in particular. How nice it is to be able to wake up on a morning and go for a swim and relax in a Jacuzzi when you arrive the night before, stressed up ... Read the complete review

I am a frequent visitor to Holiday Inn Hotels throughout the U.K. as I stay away a couple of nights every week with my job. I find Holiday Inn to be the most reliable and clean hotel chain in the UK. I often stay at the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum in London, which is a great value, good quality hotel in Central London and a major advantage for this hotel is the underground car park which always appears to have spaces available. I also use the Holiday Inn Express at Greenwich when in London on business, it is located just a short walk from the O2 arena & tube station and again parking is available onsite at a cost of £6 per night. I am a platinum ... Read the complete review

I travel quite a lot with my job, and in Europe I prefer to drive. Quite often I have to make overnight stops for one night only - mainly in Germany. I don't have a limit on what I spend on a hotel and could easily go "top notch" if I felt like it. But I prefer comfort at a reasonable price, and the Holiday Inn chain seem to offer me that. I stay at the holiday Inn Aachen or Bonn/Cologne airport quite often as they are on a regular run I take to Italy. Being usually quite busy I joined the Priority Club, which the chain offer. It is a kind of frequent stayers programme where you can earn points for free weekends and stays etc. The main ... Read the complete review
