Advantages: Good location, big rooms

The Holiday Inn is perfectly located for a weekend break to Philadelphia. It is quite central, and only two minutes away from an array of lovely shops, bars and restaurants (those worth a look in are Smak boutique shop and Tangerine restaurant). There is also a Starbuck's a minute walk away.

The hotel has a rooftop pool that is opened only in the summer, so unfortunately I didn't get to see that. The bedrooms are quite spacious, even though I was staying alone as I was on a work trip I got two double beds! The TV didn't get reception and the hairdryer was crap, I might as well have just stuck my head out the window and waited for the wind to dry it!

The breakfast is very average and very expensive, go elsewhere!

The staff are very friendly, everyone says hi.

I would probably try out a different hotel next time, other than the location there is nothing special about this one.

Summary: Perfect for a quick, budget weekend break
