We stayed for four nights at the 4* Holiday Inn Silom Bangkok in June 2007. It takes its name from its address on the Silom (Windmill) Road. The hotel has twin towers - The Crown Tower and The Plaza Tower and between them they have 700 rooms and suites. There are four lifts serving each tower. ============ The hotel is perfectly positioned for a sightseeing trip to this bustling city.....it 's within a five minute walk of Surasak Skytrain Station, a ten minute walk of the nearest Chao Phraya River Pier - to make use of river taxis and buses - and a ten minute walk in the evening takes you to the bustling Patpong night ...
